1. Living Room: Style consultation and measurement followed by layout design with suggested furniture style and dimensions; including couch, occasional chairs, rug, and coffee table to establish ‘zones’. Provided purchasing advice for a cohesive final look with budget-friendly options that would withstand the demands of young children. Style established with artwork and mirrors at right look, scale and size.
2. Kitchen & laundry: Style consultation and sourcing of splashback tiles, with recommendations for lighting and accessory purchases (e.g. bar stools). Provision of kitchen design and build contacts.
3. Bathroom: Full concept design including layout and style and tile selections. Once agreed, I recommended the relevant trades and services whilst handing over some of the final fittings, and fixtures as the client was now more confident in her ability to pull the design concept together.
4. Wardrobes and storage: Identified existing unused spaces in the home for maximising storage using built-in options. Recommended a wardrobe design company that could refit the existing wardrobes, and create built-in storage.
